Description
The Body Protector 3DF AirFit EVO features a soft shell with protection for the chest, back, shoulder and elbow. 3DF Airfit is a multi-impact energy-absorbing impact foam, providing comfortable, lightweight protection with maximum ventilation for airflow.
The body protector has an increased chest area in comparison to the previous model. An elastic chest strap ensures secure positioning and the 3D design guarantees a perfect fit. Padded flanks provide additional side protection. The BraceOn system allows for a seamless neck brace fit.

Does the job and is backed up by Leatt

I wear the previous version of this model (3D Airfit Lite). 2 seasons of moto ~150 hours. It has done it's job well on a few get offs and jousting with agressive shrubs and tree branches. I appreciate the full upper body protection in a single, integrated piece. Would buy again.
This protector is comfortable and a good fit for me based on Leatt size chart at L/XL. I go large in Leatt tops and M 32 US in the pants. 180, athletic build. It doesn't build a stink and usually I just hose it off after a few rides and let it drip dry. I've washed the garment 2-3 times and it is realtively easy remove and resinstall the pads. Like any full protector you'll feel the additional layer when it is hot and when you are working hard on the bike.
The zipper on mine is a bit finickey. I have to hold the bottom with my right hand and zip up with the left. If I try the reverse it is a struggle. The zipper doesn't separate, just tricky to get started.
The 3D soft foam at both elbows cracked horizontally where it bends at the elbow joint near the end of the second season. Leatt USA replaced at no charge, no questions asked.

A must to mitigate injuries!

The fit and function of this suit is 2nd to none! After recently breaking 3 ribs after falling on my elbow mtb’ing with no chest protection, it was time to get a full suit. I’ve liked Leatt’s products over the years of moto and DH, so I tried on several models and brands. This is really comfy, has a ton of protection, especially after adding a couple D3O hip pads with Velcro cable ties. I feel confident this setup with reduce severity of injuries and help preserve quality of life, especially when people depend on you as a provider. 5’11” 210 lb L/XL Since I can’t post pictures here, I added D3O hip pads with Velcro cable ties to the body protector elastic Velcro straps.
